Salary: 37.5 hour contract £17,004

Shift Pattern: 8 hour shift patterns, days- you could be asked to do a sleep in shift also.

Safehands are representing a Fantastic Charity based organisation who support and encourage adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

This role as Support Worker is a permanent contract where you will be working in a Supported Living Residential Environment where you can support adults to achieve an independent lifestyle within a cared and nurtured environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

Support people to live safely in their home, including to manage their finances and household budget.

Encourage people to maintain a healthy lifestyle, including to plan and prepare healthy meals.

Support people to use transport, build and maintain social relationships, go on day trips and holidays here and abroad.

Provide emotional and behavioural support, encouragement and support with personal care if needed.

Person Specification

· You must be a caring and empathetic individual

· You must be willing to work with a supported living environment

· You must be fully flexible to adapt to the shift pattern

· You must be flexible to potentially do a sleep in shift

· This role will include evening and week end work and may include a sleep in shift

· Driver preferred
