THE
ROLE:
We are
recruiting in Wrexham for a Deputy Home Manager to support the Registered Home
Manager and existing team in a solo bedded residential care home. You will work
with the Registered Manager to ensure delivery of high quality care to our
young person as part of our integrated service offering. In order to achieve
this you will hold a comprehensive knowledge of PACE model of therapeutic
parenting, along with widespread knowledge of relevant legislation.
Alongside
the Registered Manager you will:
- lead, coach,
inspire and motivate your team
- have the
ability to quickly develop trusting professional relationships
- display our
values and expected behaviours at all times
- work to ensure
these behaviours are replicated throughout your team
To be
successful in this role you will:
- Have a Level 3
in Children and Young People or Residential Care or Children’s Workforce
and / or (working towards) a Level 5 Management and Leadership
- Experience
working at a senior level in a residential setting with children and young
people.
- Committed to
providing an excellent level of care for our young people
- Enthusiastic
in your approach to tough challenges
- Assertive in
difficult situations
- Able to remain
calm under pressure
- A strong
communicator with great interpersonal skills
- Hold a full
driving licence and your own vehicle

THE
PACKAGE:
As a
Deputy Home Manager you will be required to work on a mixed contract, please
see below for breakdown:
4
forty-eight hour shifts (8 sleep-ins) {192 hours} plus 53.5 hours office time.
Totaling 245.5 hours per month
Please
note, shift patterns can be varied to meet with needs of the home and overtime
will be available to cover on shift should you wish to.
You
will receive an annual salary of up to £30,002 per annum depending on
experience and qualifications. Should you decide to support on shift where needed
you can earn overtime payments of up to £13.80 an hour and receive a sleep in
payment of £68.40.
