Bonus
: Managers are also eligible for the Home Managers bonus scheme which offers an
earning potential of up to £12,000 per annum.

to Friday 09:00-17:00 with on call expectations

Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Registered Home Manager to manage a
Children and Young people with various needs One of many homes in Middleton
Cheney, which provides a caring, comfortable and supporting environment for
young people. This is a permanent and full-time role working. We are looking
for strong candidates with sound Ofsted knowledge and experience.

are currently expanding their organisation and looking for enthusiastic, caring
and motivated individuals to join our growing organisation. They specialise in
working with young people and families. They have comprehensive experience in
providing specialist, welfare and educational based support, interventions and
guidance to children and young people in various settings
The
successful candidate will be responsible for up to 4 young people with complex
needs. Your purpose is to be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day
running (in line with National Minimum Standards and Children's Homes
Regulations) of the Children's Home including promoting the safeguarding of
young people's welfare and participate in the on-call roster in support of the
Children's Home.

9am
to 5pm Monday to Friday with on-call element. Dependant on needs of the home

supervisions, reviews of career and training needs/aspirations
The
Role
Manage
the residential home on a day-to-day basis ensuring it is compliant in meeting
all relevant legislative and contractual requirements, including the health and
educational needs of young people.
Liaise
with other departments and external agencies to ensure that the young people
receive appropriate plans, programmes and support in the home to aid their
rehabilitation into the community and to meet contractual requirements.
Coach,
support and develop staff, including supervision, to maximise their performance
and ensure high standards of care, values, ethical standards, equality and
diversity, policies and procedures, legislation and contractual and inspection
framework requirements are met.
Assist
in budget preparation and manage and control budgets to meet financial
parameters.
Interpret
and implement changes in legislation relating to occupancy to ensure any
enhanced requirements are met.
Identify
resourcing needs and the ongoing selection, training and development of staff
to ensure service delivery is optimised and relevant standards are met.
Maintain
a positive health and safety culture to meet and maintain recognition awards
and best practice.
Achieve
Ofsted 'good' or 'outstanding' outcomes for the home.
On
call responsibility in line with a planned rota system.
Requirements
A
professional social work qualification (Degree), QCF level 5 or working towards
Substantial
managerial experience within a similar environment
2
year's residential care experience.
Full
driving licence
