As a Support Worker at our Centre of Excellence, you will be required to provide residential, educational and therapeutic support to all students, enabling them to gain greater independence and confidence in preparation for facing the challenges of later life. Whilst this role predominantly requires you to provide care within a residential setting, you will be actively involved across all areas of the College, including working alongside the lecturers within classrooms, clinical services staff and the wider community. Offering each young person individually tailored and holistic programmes, you will enthusiastically encourage and promote the development of independence and transferable life skills for our students, and work in proactive partnerships with our multidisciplinary team, care co-ordinators and the students’ families.

The normal working week is 38.5 hours worked flexibly Monday to Sunday. Shifts will include days, evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
