Title: Mental health Support Worker                                                       Location: Newport

Salary: £8- £8.60                                                                                        Contract type: Temporary

Our clients in Newport are searching for a highly empathetic and enthusiastic individual to become a temporary support worker within their institute. The mental health support worker will assist vulnerable patients aged 18 and onwards who have both physical and mental complex care needs.

The support worker will take part in rehabilitation exercises helping service users within the Newport area who have an acquired brain injury, neurological illnesses, physical, cognitive and behavioural impairments.

Requirements

Please be open to Partaking in activities that will include personal care (e.g. washing and dressing).

6 months experience within a healthcare sector.

Driving is preferred but not required.

Candidate must be open to filling last minute shifts.
