Are you over 21 years old wanting to be support worker in a residential setting, helping vulnerable children and young adults aged 8-18. 

Do you have the drive, desire and enthusiasm to help children and young adults be the best they can be and make a difference in their lives?

The job involves enable children and young adults to develop by providing physical and emotional support. The role is about working as a team to maintain a stable, happy and caring environment that puts the health, safety and welfare of the children and young adults first.

The important qualities of this role are always being a good role model and conducting yourself in a professional manner whilst on duty.

 

As a residential support worker are you the following

·        Flexible in working shift patterns on a rota basis including days, evenings and weekends

As a Residential support worker, you will be supporting in

·        To build professional relationship with the young people.

·        To maintain a safe, clean and enjoyable environment to live in.

·        The day to day living

·        Supporting in education

·        Supporting with activities

·        Supporting with family events and other contact visits

·        Helping to teach them the running a home and complete daily duty such as cooking cleaning.

·        Supporting the service user with their daily needs

·        Update care plans and risk assessments

·        Liaising with professionals within and outside of the company

·        Have a good understanding of safeguarding

·         

 

 

You will receive the following

·        Induction training

·        Medication training

·        manual handling training

·        free uniform, ID badge and DBS

·        free DBS checks
