Are you over 21 years old wanting to be support worker in a residential setting, helping vulnerable children and young adults aged 8-18. 

Do you have the drive, desire and enthusiasm to help children and young adults be the best they can be and make a difference in their lives?

The job involves enable children and young adults to develop by providing physical and emotional support. The role is about working as a team to maintain a stable, happy and caring environment that puts the health, safety and welfare of the children and young adults first.

The important qualities of this role are always being a good role model and conducting yourself in a professional manner whilst on duty.

 

As a residential support worker are you the following

As a Residential support worker, you will be supporting in

  • To build professional relationship with the young people.
  • To maintain a safe, clean and enjoyable environment to live in.
  • The day to day living
  • Supporting in education
  • Supporting with activities
  • Supporting with family events and other contact visits
  • Helping to teach them the running a home and complete daily duty such as cooking cleaning.
  • Supporting the service user with their daily needs
  • Update care plans and risk assessments
  • Liaising with professionals within and outside of the company
  • Have a good understanding of safeguarding
  •  

 

 

You will receive the following

  • manual handling training
